Monitoring the Seabed – The Subtle Distinction

Huge forces are at work deep within the earth. Built-up tensions causes earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. To better understand geological, oceanographic, and climatological changes, the monitoring of the seabed plays  an important role.

A new concept from the University of Bremen enables precise long-term measurement of the pressure on the seabed. The customised design of the PD-23 pressure transmitter plays a central role in this.
